Continue to Pray for the Syrian Refugees

September 3, 2015

Our hearts go out to all those displaced by the Syrian refugee crisis.  This exodus is comparable to the Rwandan crisis twenty years ago,  according to Mercycorps.org the UN forbodes the amount of people in search of safety could reach 4.27 millions people by the end of 2015 with 50% children.  [.mercycorps.org/articles/turkey-iraq-jordan-lebanon-syria/quick-facts-what-you-need-know-about-syria-crisis]

In "Forward Day by Day" for Thursday, September 3, 2015 it reads "...Yet, I still feel lost in the knowledge that pain and suffering abound in this world, that there will always be more I should do to help those in need.  In a world of abundant resources, God's children are still dying of hunger, violence, and preventable disease.

And God weeps..."

Continue to pray for the Syrian Refugees, especially the children who are involved.

Today's Gospel
